This remastered X series features new distinctive HPL (High Pressure Laminate) finishes in Cocobolo, Ziricote, Brazilian Rosewood (Brazilian rosewood) and Mahogany (mahogany).
To ensure better playing comfort, Martin Guitar has reduced the string spacing and redesigned the fingerboard edges, slightly beveled. These new guitars are thus easier and more enjoyable to play.
