Positioned as the most versatile 6.5-inch model in the series, the Shape 65 carries the signature of the range: transparency, neutrality, and dynamics serving mixing decisions. Fully designed and manufactured in France, it incorporates five in-house innovations aimed at studio precision, from low mids to very high frequencies.
Designed for nearfield listening, the Shape 65 targets demanding home studios, post-production suites, and mobile stations requiring reliable translation. It performs best from 1 meter, even in compact rooms, and is comfortable for editing, sound design, mixing, and premastering.
Next-generation transducers. The inverted dome "M-profile" aluminum/magnesium tweeter offers controlled dispersion and very fine micro-dynamics. The 6.5-inch woofer uses a linen sandwich cone combining rigidity, low mass, and damping, ensuring tight bass and neutral mids.
Uncompromised bass management. The two 16.5 cm passive radiators extend the low-frequency response while avoiding turbulence typical of a traditional port, allowing placement close to walls without distortion or port noise.
Class AB amplification and calibration. The 105 W amplifier delivers a max SPL of 109 dB at 1 m with a frequency response from 40 Hz to 35 kHz (±3 dB). Built-in controls ? high-pass filter and bass/mid/treble adjustments ? facilitate integration in untreated rooms or compact control rooms.
Everyday convenience. XLR and RCA inputs to fit any setup, power switch with auto-standby, mounting threads for wall/ceiling installation, and a robust finish combining vinyl, genuine walnut, and black paint.
