GForce MAP is a virtual instrument designed for musicians and producers who want to go beyond "ready-to-use" sounds and shape their own signature. It excels at creating crystalline leads, gritty basses, evolving pads, granular textures, and cinematic atmospheres, with a real playing feel thanks to macros and expressive control. MAP is suited both for sound design in electro, ambient, IDM, techno, and film music, as well as live performances seeking movement and controlled unpredictability.
At the heart of MAP is a triple oscillator setup including one dedicated modulation oscillator. This allows sculpting amplitude, frequency, and waveform to achieve rich, unstable, or perfectly controlled sounds according to your intention. Add a noise source with 9 types to bring grain, air, or a textured base ideal for drones and FX.
MAP combines two processing stages: a 5-band resonant EQ and a multimode filter, usable in series or parallel for radical curves, precise sculpting, or creative destruction. The oscillator and filter sections offer interchangeable presets accompanied by XY Pad macros: a single gesture is enough to shift a patch from a subtle whisper to a chaotic explosion.
To bring sounds to life, MAP integrates 3 loopable envelopes, 3 drawable LFOs, a noise-driven random LFO, and MPE support for advanced expressivity. A polyphonic generative arpeggiator triggers evolving patterns, while an intuitive modulation matrix maintains a fast workflow even on complex patches. Effects are an integral part of the instrument: Colour to shape or ravage the spectrum, Time with a flexible quad delay to reshape rhythm, and Space for immersive depths between grains and reverb.
