Projection and clarity. With the Aluminum Bronze range, Ernie Ball offers strings that offer more clarity and projection compared to traditional bronze strings. Designed from a Maraging steel wire, widely used in the aerospace and defense sectors, and a yarn combining bronze and aluminum, these strings generate more pronounced bass frequencies and crystalline highs.

With the Aluminum Bronze acoustic guitar strings, Ernie Ball presents the first significant innovation since the invention of the Phosphor Bronze in 1974.
The addition of aluminum in the spinning of the ropes improves both the oxidation resistance and the acoustic qualities. Projection and clarity are superior to traditional 80/20 or 85/15 bronze strings.
In addition, Aluminum Bronze has a soul in Maraging Steel. This super alloy made of steel, nickel, molybdenum and titanium surpasses in strength and elasticity the steel previously used. In addition, it turns out that Maraging steel reinforces the low end and gives the bass strings more depth.
