The Behringer 2600 is a semi-modular analog synthesizer with triple VCO, designed to offer a comprehensive playground around subtractive synthesis and modulation. The 3 oscillators provide varied waveforms (depending on the oscillator: triangle, sawtooth, sine, pulse) with adjustable pulse width and switchable sync on oscillators 2 and 3 for biting and dynamic sounds. The resonant low-pass filter with 2 switchable characteristics allows shifting from a smooth tone to more aggressive responses, while integrated modules (noise generator, ring mod, sample and hold, voltage processor) multiply sound design possibilities. The ADSR and AR envelopes ensure precise modulation, and the stereo VCA with adjustable panning adds depth in the mix. The mixable reverb easily completes a patch without external gear.
