The Worthy Successor to the Sub 37, Redesigned for Studio and Stage

Designed in the pure Moog tradition, the Subsequent 37 modernizes the approach of the Sub 37 Tribute Edition by reworking the gain staging and the Multidrive. It retains the warmth of the Ladder filter and the responsiveness of a richly equipped panel, in a compact format tailored for demanding producers and keyboardists.

Comfortable both in the studio and on stage, it also excels in sound design and experimentation thanks to its generous modulation capabilities.

Features and Innovations

Its 100% analog engine combines 2 variable waveform VCOs, a square sub-oscillator, analog noise, and an external audio input routable to the filter. The Moog Ladder covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz and benefits from redesigned gain staging for subtle analog compression. The recalibrated Multidrive extends the range from silky to saturated, in mono or 2-voice paraphony for tight chords. Two assignable modulation buses and 2 loopable DAHDSR envelopes allow rich morphings, while the arpeggiator and sequencer easily generate evolving patterns. Ergonomically, the 128 x 64 LCD screen facilitates editing, the macOS/Windows software editor streamlines work within a DAW, and the 256 preset memory ensures instant recalls live. Connectivity includes MIDI In/Out and USB (MIDI), line input/output, and headphone output, completing an instrument without digital effects that relies on internal analog coloration to shape its character.

Hello, I am a new customer at Woodbrass and this is my first order. I received my package quickly. One thing bothers me: A synthesizer costing 1465 euros should be perfect. However, there is a slight crack at the back of one of the 2 wooden flanges. This is unacceptable. Where is the quality control? I am keeping it because I need it, but frankly, for my first purchase, and for the price, I expected perfection. Best regards,

Completely meets my expectations. Being a novice in the field of synthesizers, I have some time to spend on it before I can give an objective opinion of the beast. The only thing that is certain: the sounds are simply amazing (it's MOOG :-)) and the keyboard feel is pleasant. I will repost a review in a few weeks, months, years.... when I start to master it.

Wow fabulous. My first synth. No regrets. The Moog sound, which needs no introduction, is there. An astonishing ease to reach the desired sounds. The build is solid, it's beautiful to listen to and to look at. Long nights of composing ahead. Great ??
