To awaken the punch of a Jaguar Bass Mike Kerr whose original strings are as soft as chewing gum (the problem with a short scale...). Although these strings are for long-scale, they fit on the short scale Fender and finally bring the snap it was missing. A small truss rod adjustment is necessary because the tension they provide really pulls on the neck.
