Description

Keeping the same basic design of the hugely successful YTR-4335G, the new version offers some real improvements in terms of playability and a more powerful sound. The 4000 series now comes with a modified two-piece gold brass bell with a thickness of metal that has improved both sound and playability. Newly designed heavier valve caps and buttons give the trumpet more projection and power.

Gold brass bell
The newly redesigned, durable yet light two-piece bell is made of gold brass for a wide range of tone colors and to promote good technique and endurance.

New piston, piston caps and buttons
Highly durable monel alloy pistons as well as newly designed piston buttons and bottom caps help lengthen the life of the instrument while also maximizing sound quality.

New tuning slides
The 2nd and main tuning slides are produced using the same method as high-end Yamaha models, which provides stability, a more refined tonal color and added durability.

Brace
Main tuning brace lets sound more focus and hold together.

Excellent trumpet called "study" because, in fact, its ease of play and quality of sound place it rather on the semi-pro side. The Monel pistons are of excellent quality (be careful to oil them well before first use, without excess, and to warm up the instrument well otherwise, as in my case, at the beginning there is a risk of a slight blockage during fast playing). Only point to slightly improve: the finish (at the level of the inner varnish-sliding of the tuning slide), but it's really just nitpicking because besides... it's beautiful! The mouthpiece supplied, a YAMAHA, is very decent. (personally I preferred a good old BACH 1-1/2C). The case is more than adequate and comes with slide oil and grease. Very beautiful instrument, very good build quality, very pleasant to play, I have much more ease in the high notes and the mouthpiece suits me better than the one I have been using since the beginning (a Bach 1 1/2 C)
