The X-TOUCH EXTENDER adopts the ergonomics and philosophy of the X-TOUCH range: providing a true console feel while seamlessly integrating into your DAW environment. Its role is clear: add 8 control channels to your existing surface, with the same references (track names, parameters, levels) to work faster without juggling multiple pages and banks in the software. And if your session grows, multiple X-TOUCH and EXTENDER units can be combined to simulate a large-scale control surface.
The X-TOUCH EXTENDER is aimed at demanding home studio users, sound engineers, and creators who want to regain tactile control over mixing: volume automation, panning, sends, plugin parameters, arm, mute/solo... Where the mouse quickly becomes a limitation, its motorized faders and dedicated controls allow you to gain precision and stay focused on listening.
It can also be used as a standalone controller for remote recording sessions with a laptop: convenient for controlling your tracks without transporting a full setup, while maintaining real comfort for editing and automation.
The 8 motorized 100 mm faders, fully automated and touch-sensitive, follow your DAW's movements and facilitate clean automation writing. Compared to a setup limited to a single surface, the EXTENDER immediately provides more tracks accessible simultaneously, resulting in fewer bank changes and a more continuous workflow.
Each channel strip features a dynamic LCD screen to view track names and parameters, a rotary encoder with LED ring for on-the-fly adjustments, and an 8-segment LED meter to monitor levels. The 32 illuminated buttons enhance visibility of states (selection, functions, actions), even in live environments.
The integrated USB MIDI interface simplifies connection to Mac or PC, while the powered USB hub (2 ports) helps daisy-chain additional controllers. Ethernet opens the door to MIDI RTP for remote control scenarios.
