Designed to succeed the GT-1B, the "GX-1B" condenses BOSS expertise into a next-generation bass pedalboard. Available from January 2026, it adopts AIRD technology to replicate the behavior and dynamics of tube amps while easily integrating with current rigs and home studios.

Eight simultaneous effect blocks, support for WAV-format speaker cabinet IRs, and 99 ready-to-play presets (plus 99 user memories) provide ample flexibility. Three footswitches and an expression pedal with toe switch freely control volume, wah, effects, or bank changes, with possible extension via external footswitches/pedals or wireless control FS-1-WL/EV-1-WL.
