Derived from the famous Whammy, the new DigiTech creation is called DROP. It's a pitch shifter, or a transposition pedal. By activating the footswitch, you can transpose according to the selected program (between 1/2 ton to 1 octave). A momentary switch ON / OFF allows to choose between a continuous or momentary use of the effect. The dressing is reminiscent of the design of the famous Whammy red and the image of his big sister, the DROP is true bypass and includes a led indicating its operation.
