Custom Series. The YCL-881 was designed in close cooperation with some of the world´s greatest Eb clarinetists, and can be found in many top orchestras.
Yamaha Custom Clarinets are hand-crafted from select grenadilla. They feature beautifully sculpted keys precisely balanced for a light, even touch, and superb playability. They also feature highly accurate intonation and play consistently in every range at any dynamic. Intonation and playability of the YCL-881 are superb, and the rich round sound has a deep resonance, full of color and warmth.
