Yamaha - Transverse FluteYamaha flutes from the 500, 600, and 700 series set new standards in musicality, skill, and expression. Inspired by Yamaha's handmade silver and gold alloy flutes, these flute series benefit from the technical expertise of Yamaha's most experienced craftsmen, whose understanding of the flute is the result of close collaboration with the world's leading flutists.
AM Headjoint
The AM type headjoint offers enormous musical potential that places Yamaha professional flutes at the forefront. Combined with the new acoustic annealing treatment process, this provides the entire range with new expressive possibilities, a more pleasant response, and excellent balance.
StraubingerTM Phoenix Pads
The use of StraubingerTM Phoenix pads ensures more precise sealing and stable adjustment. The harder surface offers a quick response and a clear tone.
Thick Tube
The tube thickness has been increased from 0.38 mm (standard) to 0.43 mm, offering slightly greater resistance, a more centered sound, and more playing flexibility.
KeyworkTraditional design in which the key arms extend to the center of the plate, for faster response and more precise action.
The keys are hand-assembled and meticulously balanced to provide a perfect touch. Furthermore, the shape and ergonomics of the keys have been so carefully crafted that the flute almost "disappears" in your hands. Performances feel easier and more natural.
