The Classic Stack Plus looks just like a standard single coil strat in every way, sound and aesthetics but without the usual 60-cycle hum. It delivers all the chime and punch you'd expect from a traditional strat pickup.
In the 80s, Seymour Duncan patented this concept of inverted lower coil which opposes the upper coil and therefore allows a suppression of the parasitic noise that we know in traditional single coils.
Handmade in Santa Barbara, California, the Classic Stack Plus Stratocaster is mounted with alnico 5 rods and comes with 3-conductor wire for a spliting options.
