The 11 and 12 series differ in the types of wood used for the top. Each series offers a standard Dreadnought shape as well as a more compact NEX shape.
The two models in the 12 series feature a spruce top, providing more brightness and clarity. Otherwise, the mahogany back and sides, jatoba fingerboard, and TP-3G preamp are identical to the 11 series.
