Behringer HELLBABE HB01

Description

Do you play everything, both in terms of instrument and style, and are you looking for an effective Wah Wah, for a ridiculous price? There's no point in running anymore, you've found your happiness! The Hellbabe is intended to compete directly with the most prominent products on the market, it is distinguished from the mass by its fully optical control plate ensuring operation without residual noise (neither switch nor mechanical potentiometers). The tray also has a rear spring mechanism with adjustable resistance ensuring ultimate freedom of play.

In order to be able to adapt the HB01 to the bandwidth of a bass, the Range command gives you the possibility of adjusting the frequency of the “glued heel” position between 440 Hz and 250 Hz. Similarly, the adjustment called Fine Tune allows you increase the frequency range upwards for an incredibly bright and present sound. The Q command is intended for adjusting the shape of the filter allowing the production of voice-type effects. Finally, the adjustable Boost function with On / Off switch will propel your guitar lines with even greater force.

The HELLBABE has two LEDs indicating the state of the effect and the booster as well as ULN Ultra-Low Noise circuits ensuring impeccable audio performance. It works on 9 V battery or on AC adapter (not included).

Simply brilliant! I do not regret at all choosing this product! Great stability, the sound is super and the settings are not difficult! The manual is in English, sure, but that's not really a problem! As for the buttons, it can indeed become a problem when you have big fingers, which is not my case! Ultra fast delivery! Apart from the "all plastic a bit cheap" ... very, very cheap, actually, but sturdy, it looks like good old flexible and solid vinyl at the same time (private joke for fans of Campan-Bourdon-Légitimus) ... it's a very high-level product from a technical point of view: you can adjust the range and the affected frequency band, there is a boost not to be used in clean but frankly effective launched into tubes to give crunch where needed. Mechanically, two options: either accept that releasing the foot kills the effect and understand that it does not allow the wah to be set in an intermediate position ... or take out your Halen key and tighten everything to death knowing that it will cause wear, but mastering the effect in all circumstances. 4/5 for value for money. price 5/5, quality 3/5, durability to be defined over time (as it is well said!) so to the benefit of the doubt: 4/5.... Satisfied! this Wah Wah is very Practical to use... the boost and the selector (high range low) are Metal and not plastic Like in the photo.... Fast shipping!! The only downside is that the manual is in Chinese and English so go to the Behringer website to download the Manual!! This pedal is bigger than it looks, in the photo it doesn't seem like it, it is about 25 cm long, it is quite heavy but well I find it very good for Beginners. It's true that the buttons at the back (not visible in the photo) are very small, those with big fingers will not be able to use them!!
