For those used to EXP or Elixirs: it's nothing like that (obviously there's no coating)!!! You lose your bearings a bit, it feels like electric strings with an acoustic gauge. Anyway, the sound is really good with good projection, a nice balance, and beautiful harmonics. It's just that we're not used to it. However, oxidation will inevitably occur faster than on coated strings...
