Description

Analog bassline synthesizer with VCO, VCF, 16-step sequencer, distortion effects and Behringer TD-3-MO 16-voice poly chain

TD-3-MO-AM

Some time after the release of the original TB-303, creative users realized that it was possible to squeeze more out of an already amazing bass machine, in order to produce sounds that were uniquely their own. When news spread that third-party mods were adding more features and ways to shape sounds, synthesizer enthusiasts everywhere wanted to get their hands on a modified TB-303. Now it's much easier to achieve that great "modded-out" sound with the Behringer TD-3-MO-AM, a faithful and ultra-affordable tribute to this iconic synthesizer, capable of creating fiery bass lines and even more.

With its purely analog signal path, 16-step sequencer, and authentic VCO, VCF, and VCA filters, the TD-3-MO-AM is sure to become one of your favorite synthesizers.

Purely analog signal path

The TD-3-MO-AM has been designed with the utmost care, including respecting the original designs of the VCOs, VCFs and VCAs and using purely analog circuitry with matched transistors. It's this intense attention to detail that gives the TD-3-MO-AM its ultra-flexible sound-shaping ability, which covers a wide spectrum so you can create super funky basslines and punchy beats that can keep you and the crowd grooving all night long.

Rock right out of the box!

Your TD-3-MO-AM comes ready to go, thanks to its default signal routing that doesn't require lifting a single patch cable to create incredible sounds instantly. The highly intuitive layout lets you easily tap into sounds inspired by 1980s and 1990s wave, EDM and synth-pop music tracks that made history - or design incredibly fat, original sounds that will make you a legend in its own right!

Vintage oscillator

The TD-3-MO-AM features an ultra-flexible sawtooth and square waveform Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), which can be tuned, shaped and even overdrive as desired. The amazing 4-pole low-pass resonant filter has Cutoff, Resonance, Envelope, Decay, and Boost controls that you can adjust and fine-tune to add tension and zest to your tracks. If you want to go even lower, you can hit the Sub Oscillator button, which gives you an extra octave, more bass, and a deeper sound.

More features

Because this is a "modified" version of the original TD-3, there's a whole plethora of amazing new features that will surely put your music to the test, such as a MIDI C/C controllable filter , variable glide time control, three-mode sweep speed switch, accent sweep switch, soft attack control and much more! The TD-3-MO-AM is an ideal addition to your current setup to let you create the beats and basslines you've always dreamed of.

Built-in sequencer and arpeggiator

The built-in 7-track sequencer lets you program up to 16 steps of notes and rests and save them as patterns. You can save, save and recall up to 250 patterns, all of which can be stored in the 4 groups. Your sequences can be played either in keyboard mode, where you create and record the pattern, or in step mode, which lets you interact while composing a pattern. The built-in arpeggiator offers large patterns that you can build up to achieve a virtually endless range of sound effects. Both the TD-3-MO-AM's sequencer and arpeggiator are fun, spellbinding, and totally addictive.

Poly Chain 16 notes ready to use

Although it is a monophonic (one note at a time) instrument, the TD-3-MO-AM's 16-note Poly Chain feature lets you combine multiple synthesizers to achieve up to 16-voice polyphony. In addition, it offers significantly better reliability and stability than its predecessors from the 1970s and 1980s.

Unleash your imagination

When it comes to not just pushing boundaries, but creating them, the TD-3-MO-AM lets your imagination run wild - and it's super affordable. When modern performance calls for classic analog sound, Behringer's TD-3-MO-AM delivers!
