At the heart of the JUNO-D7, the ZEN-Core platform combines hybrid subtractive/PCM synthesis for modern tones and timeless classics. Navigation is smooth via a large color screen, dedicated sliders, and the Roland pitch/mod lever. The 8-track sequencer allows sketching songs or preparing accompaniments on the fly, while the 8 phrase pads trigger drums, samples, patterns, and audio files. WAV sample import expands your palette, and Roland Cloud opens access to Sound Packs and Wave Expansions to evolve the instrument over time. On the vocal side, the mic input features noise suppression, EQ, reverb, and dedicated compressor, plus a vocoder and auto-pitch for creative vocal performances.
