An Authentic Tribute to 1959 Within the Time Machine Series
Created by the Fender Custom Shop, this Time Machine '59 captures the aesthetics and feel of a late 1950s Stratocaster. The Journeyman relic evokes a carefully played-in guitar passed down through generations, while the faithful 1959 specifications preserve the sonic and tactile DNA of the era.
Who Is It For and Which Styles?
Ideal for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking an expressive and responsive Strat. Blues, classic rock, surf, funk, indie: it covers the full Strat spectrum, from crisp rhythms to singing leads, with excellent dynamic response whether playing with a pick or fingers.
The Sound
The selected alder and nitro finish provide attack, balanced mids, and great projection. The quarter-sawn maple neck adds stability and "snap," while the 3A rosewood fingerboard rounds off the highs. The Fat '50s deliver firm lows, slightly scooped mids, and typical glassy highs; the RWRP middle pickup reduces noise in positions 2 and 4. The treble-bleed circuit preserves brightness when lowering the volume, and the 5-position selector offers all Strat tonal colors, from biting bridge to velvety neck. The vintage synchronized tremolo provides smooth vibrato and natural sustain.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
