The Return of a Legend!
The new Foxy Tone Box from Warm Audio is an exact recreation of one of the most beloved and sought-after fuzz pedals – used in the early 70s by legends such as Billy Gibbons and Peter Frampton, and still used today by Adrian Belew, Nine Inch Nails, and Beck.
Covered in velvet like the original, the Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box faithfully reproduces the vintage circuit and delivers the thickness, octave sound, and look of the original... without having to pay the high vintage price!
Attention to Detail
The choice of specific components used in a pedal is critical for its sound and response to your playing; each Foxy Tone Box is hand-assembled using premium components. Warm Audio searched extensively to find a stock of the correct Fairchild NOS germanium transistor used in the original – paired with germanium diodes, carbon resistors, and film capacitors to bring the fury of the vintage pedal to life today. It is True Bypass and sounds like nothing else on Earth!
Fuzz It Up
Like the original, the Foxy Tone Box features controls for VOLUME, SUSTAIN, and FUZZ (from MELOW to BRITE), with a switch to engage the octave effect. From subtle, controlled crunch to thunderous fuzz, this pedal is a true concentration of rage wrapped in orange velvet!
Electric guitar is an obvious application, but try it on synthesizers, drum machines, and basses. The Foxy Tone Box will add character you won’t find anywhere else.
